Societies (Affiliates) and Clubs

Participation in APS shows can enhance the visibility of APS Affiliates and Chapters.

Ways your group can participate:

Hold a Group Meeting or Host a Seminar - Groups may request rooms for meetings or seminars. Space and audiovisual equipment is usually provided free of charge (as available).

Staff a Booth - The APS Chapters and Affiliates Committees staff a booth to distribute information and answer questions about all APS affiliated organizations. BUT if your group can commit to adequate staffing you may request your own table at a greatly discounted rate. ($100 with a $50 refund if the booth is staffed for at least 80% of the show hours)
Note: Society tables may only be used for membership recruiting and the sale of any Society items. Sale of general philatelic merchandise is not permitted. Groups that can not commit to staffing their own table are welcome to help at the Affiliate and Chapter booth.

Sponsor an Award - To promote their collecting area many groups provide an award for the best exhibit covering their specialty. A few groups also donate door prizes such as a Society publication or year’s membership.

Advertise at a Discount - Participating chapters and affiliates may also take advantage of reduced advertising rates in the show program and or the show issue of The American Philatelist. See Full Details
