How
to Post a New Question/Comment:
Posting a new Question/comment is easy - simply click on POST
NEW MESSAGE on the main Message Board page. A "Post New Question/Comment
Form" will appear where you enter the information requested. Please
be sure to enter a concise Subject for your message as this is what
will appear on the main message board area. Students should select "Normal
User Post" when posting a message as the "Instructor Post"
is for instructors so their messages stands out in a different color
-- yellow. Once you have entered the requested information, click on
submit. Your message will now be posted on the Main Message Board. Note:
the newest messages posted will appear at the top as number one.
To
View/Respond to a Currently Posted Question/Comment:
Currently posted questions/comments are listed on the main Message
Board area. The subject for the message is all that appears on the main
screen. To view the full question/comment, simply click on the subject.
You will be forwarded to a page where the subject and full message will
appear at the top of the page in red and any replies listed directly
below; this page is also where you can directly reply to the particular
question/comment. The "Reply Form" is at the bottom of the
page (as some questions/comments may have a lot of responses be sure
to scroll to the bottom of the page for the response form.) When using
the "Reply Form" you will notice the subject line is already
filled in for you, simply fill out the rest of the form with your reply
to the particular question/comment (again, note students should select
"Normal User Post" when posting a message as the "Instructor
Post" is for instructors so their messages stands out in a different
color -- yellow) and click on submit. Your reply will now be posted
to the particular question/comment you were responding to.
Important
Reminder:
If you are planning to leave the message board area open on your browser
for any length of time, be sure to occasionally Refresh/Reload your
browser by clicking on the Refresh/Reload button at the top of your
browser screen. This will reload the message board posting any new replies
that may have been currently posted while you have the screen open.
