Instructions Page

How to Post a New Question/Comment:

Posting a new Question/comment is easy - simply click on POST NEW MESSAGE on the main Message Board page. A "Post New Question/Comment Form" will appear where you enter the information requested. Please be sure to enter a concise Subject for your message as this is what will appear on the main message board area. Students should select "Normal User Post" when posting a message as the "Instructor Post" is for instructors so their messages stands out in a different color -- yellow. Once you have entered the requested information, click on submit. Your message will now be posted on the Main Message Board. Note: the newest messages posted will appear at the top as number one.

To View/Respond to a Currently Posted Question/Comment:

Currently posted questions/comments are listed on the main Message Board area. The subject for the message is all that appears on the main screen. To view the full question/comment, simply click on the subject. You will be forwarded to a page where the subject and full message will appear at the top of the page in red and any replies listed directly below; this page is also where you can directly reply to the particular question/comment. The "Reply Form" is at the bottom of the page (as some questions/comments may have a lot of responses be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page for the response form.) When using the "Reply Form" you will notice the subject line is already filled in for you, simply fill out the rest of the form with your reply to the particular question/comment (again, note students should select "Normal User Post" when posting a message as the "Instructor Post" is for instructors so their messages stands out in a different color -- yellow) and click on submit. Your reply will now be posted to the particular question/comment you were responding to.

Important Reminder:

If you are planning to leave the message board area open on your browser for any length of time, be sure to occasionally Refresh/Reload your browser by clicking on the Refresh/Reload button at the top of your browser screen. This will reload the message board posting any new replies that may have been currently posted while you have the screen open.
