Support the APRL

The American Philatelic Research Library (APRL) has one of the world's largest and most accessible collections of philatelic literature (visit the APRL main pages to learn more about the library).

The APRL welcomes donations of monetary contributions as well as philatelic materials, literature, and archival material. Like the APS, the library is an IRS recognized 501(c)3 public charity so donations are tax deductible.

Monetary Gifts

Monetary gifts help us to maintain our library services and to secure our future growth. We are currently raising money to complete renovations and move into the two buildings long intended for the Library space. The new space will provide first rate research facilities. See The Case for Support for more details.

In-Kind Donations

Donations are the primary source of acquisitions for the APRL. Donations most frequently are gifts or bequests from APS members, but may also come from libraries, clubs, societies, publishers, distributors, authors, or other sources.

For more details about the kinds of material the APRL collects, see our Collection Development Policy or contact Librarian Tara Murray for more information.
