AmeriStamp Expo/TEXPEX
Deep in the Heart of Texas!

AmeriStamp Expo/ TEXPEX will be held February 20-22, 2009 at the Arlington Convention Center, 1200 Ballpark Way, Arlington, Texas 76011. The show venue is at the center of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex convention ― a 12-county region in the north-central section of the Lone Star State that is the fourth-largest metropolitan area in the nation, with a population of well over 6 million. It will be the biggest and best stamp show in North Texas since 1984! 

AmeriStamp Expo 2009 in Arlington plans to feature:

• approximately 90 dealers from throughout the United States and abroad, as well as a professional public auction hosted by Harmer-Schau Auction Galleries Inc. of California.
• postal administrations, including the U.S. Postal Service
• participation of important national collectors’ societies, including annual meetings of the Mexico-Elmhurst Philatelic Society International (MEPSI), the Texas Philatelic Association, and the Texas Postal History Society.
• scores of meetings and seminars catering to stamp hobby interests of every kind
• more than 6,000 pages of exhibits, including the annual single-frame Champion of Champions competition and Most Popular Exhibit competition. If you would like to take part more information is available.
• the world’s best-known stamp error ― the famous 1918 Inverted Jenny, with a book value of $400,000 ― plus the discovery pane of the Dag Hammarskjold invert and other great rarities 
• “Stamps in Your Attic” -- informal evaluations of collections offered throughout the show, sponsored by the dealer-experts of the National Stamp Dealers Association
• special dime and dollar booths, plus educational opportunities for collectors of all ages and levels of experience

Beginners and youth are especially welcome! There will be a booth for new collectors staffed by knowledgeable collectors. Another special area will guide youth through the basics of the hobby and include free stamps, puzzles, hands-on demonstrations, and games.
 
Show hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Friday and Saturday, February 20-21
                      10 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Sunday, February 22
